I have been working on promoting my Etsy store through forums, etc. Well I commented on a thread yesterday that said to rate the shop above you in the thread 1-10 with 10 being the best. So when it came my turn to be rated....I got a 7. I have to say that of course I thought my shop was a 10 but the advice that I read was eye opening...here it is...
"BellaBug08- 7 you have a really nice shop but I would like to see a different banner, it doesn't represent your shop, is fuzzy and the lettering is cut off. Also I think your products could use better photos, their good but don't have much thumbnail appeal which is what people see first, would love to see some cute little girls in your pictures"

Well you can see it better on my shop page. I'm going to put myself out there for criticism once again and see what I get. Ugghh, I hate being rated, but I guess that's what makes us better!
So, my critquer also mentioned better photos but that's just going to have to work for now. My camera is on it's last leg and I don't have money to buy another one. And as far as using little girls in my photos...hmmph...not gonna happen with my little one. She WILL NOT cooperate when it come to taking pics. That is why I bought a dress form! So that I will not have to dress and undress a wiggly toddler every time I made a new pillowcase dress!! SORRY, but not all advice will be followed!!
